O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Psalm 96:1 At Harvest Baptist Church it is our desire to provide music that honors the Lord in spirit and truth. We sing the old hymns! All of our music is played or sung by church members, we believe that all the honor goes to the Lord. The Music Ministries are all under the leadership of Mr. Joshua Savage.
The Church choir is under the Direction of Mr. Joshua Savage and is accompanied by church pianist Rachel Guiel. The Church choir is made up of volunteers wishing to use their talents to serve the Lord. God honoring music is provided by the church choir on Sunday Mornings and Sunday nights. The choir also does a Christmas and Easter Cantata at their appropriate times. The choir is open to all members that wish to join.
The Teen Choir is under the direction of Mr. Paul Weeks and accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Crystal Puetz. At Harvest we strive to teach our teenagers to serve the Lord with their spiritual gifts. The teen choir sings in the services on a regular basis, many of the teens that sing in the teen choir also sing in the Church Choir as well. Teen choir is for those in the 7th through the 12th grades.
The Childrens Choir is under the Direction of Mrs. Kami Heaton and accompanied by Mrs. Crystal Puetz on the piano. The Children’s Choir is an opportunity for children to sing joyfully unto the Lord. The children sing in the annual Christmas Cantata and also sing regularly in church services. Children’s choir is for children ages 5 through the 6th grade.
The orchestra is under the direction of Mr. David Bracewell. The orchestra like the church choir is made up of volunteers that give of their time and talents so that others can be filled during the congregational singing. Many individuals that play in the orchestra play solos and duets during the offertory as well.
